Had no clue that I even owed money. I have insurance that wasn’t billed. Some how I’m still on the hook for 600$ apparently. Didn’t know this until I was served papers from the court. So I’m being sued. And it’s something that should have already been taken care of. Unbelievable. That sad part is I didn’t even get to choose this place… it chose me. But I can clearly see why this business is so unpopular. If there was a zero star button I’d be pressing it.
They don't bill your insurance. Even after multi calls still never billed them.
There unfortunately isn’t a spot for a negative review. I received a letter from a collection agency for a bill that was paid via insurance. Had I actually received the bill, the matter could’ve been resolved before escalating to eating into my day for work that clearly was never done on their part. Had to call the insurance company to verify it was paid then the collection agency to let them know. Ridiculous.
A bill was sent to collections by mistake which was sent to my credit and has since been removed thanks to the the secretary who I spoke with. She seems to genuinely care about what she does and went the extra mile to fix something that wasn’t her fault.
The first notice I received regarding radiology charges was from a collection agency. After many, many phone calls I learned that their billing company never even billed my insurance. A Blue Cross representative called the billing company on my behalf and the bill was magically sent to Blue Cross within days. I've been getting radiology services from McLaren for over a decade but sadly, if they continue to use Kellam and Associates I will be going elsewhere.
