We just got back from vacation and had to go to Kekes our favorite. Wanted to see Wanda who was the best ever. We were sad that she was no longer working there. The word is she was let go for no reason. Terrible. The whole atmosphere of the restaurant has changed. It used to be peaceful and relaxing. No more. Our waitress was very loud and the food was not up to par. The bacon was sitting in a pool of grease. The grits were hard and dry as if they had been sitting for a long time. The restaurant is clean and spacious. Our blueberry pancakes were delivered without syrup but we did receive our check. Asking the server for syrup didn’t get us any. We had to walk towards the kitchen before the server realized she still hadn’t brought it to us. The home fries were cold but we couldn’t mention this since we never saw our server. Best food in town. Waitress was polite, but clearly didn't like us
My husband and I decided just moved to New Port Richey and decided to try KeKe’s. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and there were so many choices! Great Service as well! Megan made our experience so good we are coming back for sure!
I was really looking forward to eating here, but what a disappointment. I ordered the tuna melt and it was literally a half sandwich. My friend ordered the stuffed French toast and the slices were SO small. I would compare to child portions. I felt ripped off and still hungry. I will not be returning nor recommending Keke’s restaurant.
