Keith and the doctor that does stent placements at Watauga Medical saved my life in April 2023. Two arteries in the "widow-maker" portion of my heart were blocked over 80%. Dr. Atkinson did not fuss at me or make me feel guilty when fear made me drag my feet for over a year. A former cardiologist found abnormal results via a stress test but and they chewed me out when I canceled a heart catheterization, but Dr. Atkinson never fussed or made me feel badly about my hesitations.
