He listens to what you have to say unlike most doctors whom has a I am god complex he does not.!!!
The information being asked was more extensive than most doctors I’ve seen. Because of this the doctor better understood what I was going through now and what I had been in the past. I believe this gave him what he needed to determine the treatment I required. Questions were asked by his assistant who interviewed me first and then expanded upon by Dr Schmidt
He went right to where my pain was and explain to me why it was and help me to understand better what I can do to resolve it thank you
My appointment with Dr. Schmidt was a Virtual appointment. Unfortunately, I am not computer savvy, and had issues operating the audio. It took some time, but Dr. Schmidt had patience; even-though I did not! We discussed all possible options for what may be causing my severe nerve pain. If you ask him a specific question, he will give you a specific answer. We made the decision to do an epidural. Dr Schmidt was easy to talk to, he understood what I’ve been through. He didn’t talk down to me like my last doctor always did. He was willing to explain everything to me and my husband without any judgement and he had so much patience he didn’t make me feel like he had to hurry to get to the next patient. Overall it was a great experience with a fantastic doctor!!
My visit was just on telehealth. Dr Schmidt listens to my questions and concerns and always answers them. I always feel better after a phone conversation or appointment with Dr Schmidt. Both physically and mentally and emotionally. Great doctor.

Dr. Schmidt listened carefully to my concerns and suggested a plan for managing my pain. I live in Virginia, but continue to use Dr. Schmidt as my pain management doctor because I trust his plans, his skill at performing procedures, and his thoughtful approach. An Excellent doctor!
