We’re always happy with Dr. Bachman and his team. Very few providers can work with my autistic son due to past medical trauma, but Dr. Bachman has a calming presence and a truly exceptional bedside manner. My son loves him! He takes time to listen, explains everything clearly, and treats us with patience and respect. You can tell he truly cares about his patients—he’s an amazing doctor

Dr. Bachman and his staff are professional, caring, and they interact beautifully with children. Our 13 year old daughter is on the spectrum. Dr. Bachman gained her trust with gentleness. She required surgery to fuse her spine from T3 - L1. The care she received from Dr. Bachman and UVA Children's Hospital was outstanding!
I want to start this review saying that we were called back 45 MINUTES PRIOR to our scheduled appointment time. We got there early due to longer commute and not wanting be late. We were referred to UVA for our 18 month old son who had fractured his radius. Dr. Bachmann was very thorough and explained everything in great detail. He gave us a range of treatment options and made us feel very comfortable making any decision.
