I went to see Dr. S because others in practice were booked.. He hadn't reviewed my case. and spent less than 5 minutes with me. He vacillated on what my next step should be without any examination/questions.Unwilling to work with my GYN. Scheduled scope (no evidence indicating this was needed per previous encounter-said no need then). Did scope with no attempt at using an anesthetic or antibacterial lubricant. Extremely painful -no empathy.Said that was all he could do for me. No answers.
Doesn’t take time to listen or try to understand a case. Comes across as very arrogant and uncaring. Unwilling to take time to answer questions or develop an overall plan of attack.

My husband was referred to Dr. Keith Steinbecker to do a testicular sperm aspiration because we are going through a fertility clinic to have a baby. He is a cancer survivor, and has gone through two rounds of chemo, and radiation. Luckily we have great insurance that covers infertility costs up to 10,000 dollars. When we called to set up the procedure we were told he charges a $850 fee to do the procedure, and will not accept insurance for that fee even though he is innetwork for our insurance
Dr Steinbecker I'd a great doctor. He is very caring and knowledgeable . I am so happy that he is my doctor. I trust him completely.
