Dr Keil and her team are truly exceptional at what they do. They were able to work me in to her very busy schedule as my dog was experiencing rapid vision loss, and they understood our fear and need for ophthalmic evaluation. The kindness, expertise and patience they provided us were invaluable during a very scary time. We drove 3.5 hours to see Dr Keil and I would not hesitate to do so again. Dr. Keil and team are amazing. Our German Shepherd had what we thought was a mass on his eye and were referred by our vet for probable surgery. Instead Dr. Keil educated us on shepherds and Pannus (abnormal inflammatory tissue growth). We were able to treat him with him just eye drops! We were SO relieved. Now two years later, he still gets his drops a couple of times a week, but he's happy and healthy with no eye issues. Dr. Keil is thorough. She explains everything she has found, and gives us clear instruction on how to care for our dog’s eyes. We tried another ophthalmologist closer to our home. They were no where near as good as Dr. Keil. We came back!
