We were there for opening weekend. Fabulous place for the horse racing fan! Always a fun time.
Keeneland, as always was wonderful. The staff are all excellent and knowledgeable. We had grandstands seats given to us and took some of the grandkids. We are going back by ourselves probably Wednesday and sitting down by the track, our favorite spot.
After many years away, we visited the Phoenix Room yesterday and had an excellent experience. Despite the fact that it was COMPLETELY FULL, the room was set up with plenty of space between tables and for comfortably moving around the room. The betting windows, television monitors, and announcements were timely and accurate! The ambiance, food, and drinks were FANTASTIC, and I consider myself a bit picky! Going before daybreak and hearing the horses hooves on the track while they workout is a very special experience. My grandchildren really enjoy the kids club and all of the activities. The employees are great they make the experience even more enjoyable.

My experience was wonderful and the whole place was absolutely gorgeous.
We look forward each spring and fall to visiting Keeneland at least once. We've never been disappointed; sunny, warm, rainy, cold, doesn't matter, it's always a good time. The grounds are immaculate, the staff friendly, young and old mix with rich and poor, and everyone hopes to win The Big One. A long time ago a friend papered a room of his home with his uncashed/losing tickets. Then he and his wife decorated with Keeneland photos and KY horse memorabilia. Visitors always had a Keeneland story to tell :)
