After John Barnes retired, I thought he could never be replaced!!!! He chose the perfect MDVIP doctor to replace him. I'm very happy with Dr. Lobb in Midlothian, VA. He's just as thorough a Dr. Barnes was & he is very friendly & makes you feel comfortable asking any questions you may have! Love him!!!
Dr. Lobb and his staff are always accessible to me and reflect real concern for any issues I have. They take time to answer any questions I have.

Dr Lobb was a consummate professional who always listened to my concerns and gripes. I went through 5 different Docs before finding Dr Lobb. He will be an absolute credit to any organization that requires 'people skills' on top of his medical knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Very satisfied with my visits. He is a great listener and does not rush your appointment. So glad I was able to make an appointment.
After getting my lab results, I had a few questions. I guess I asked too many questions, and frustrated him. His response sounded like something a parent would say to a child. He needs to learn how to talk to people.
I first went to Dr. Lobb because I was looking for a PCP who was a DO. I wanted to receive a comprehensive treatment plan rather than covering up my symptoms. He seemed young and energetic, which was encouraging to me. However, I found that he changed over time. He started pushing more and more pills on me. One time I ended up with 5 medications after a 5-minute virtual visit (let alone the fact that he was 30 minutes late for the appointment). He was extremely condescending and arrogant.
