First time donating at KED plasma. The screeners were awesome. My phlebotomist initially, was great, until she suggested to go for a vein that wasn’t visible. After it popped, she went for a different vein, one I had initially told her to go for. The procedure started off smooth until I began feeling numbness and tingling throughout my arm. BPL had it's issues but at least the staff was professional and nice. Now it's all about money they don't pay their employees or donors enough its a shame when the goal is supposed to be saving lives. Will not be visiting KED plasma unfortunately. They lost some great people.
The people there are great, and it is a great way to help others! I try to do this twice a week! It is not a lot of money you get, but it helps.
The facility feels exploitive, and the staff tend to argue with each other. This stressed me out and made the experience dreadful for $45 dollars, find somewhere else.
