Poor Services, prices is absolutely very very high and not reasonable! Providing a low quality Spare parts. I don’t recommend this workshop to anyone, especially when they refuse to accept the customer buying the parts and insisting they provide it! That’s so weird! Also the price! Ohh, it’s above the market range! I repaired my car once and it was the last time.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Went there for an issue that was happening while driving. They refused to ride in the car, listened to the engine for a minute and then without running any diagnostic tests declared they knew what the issue was. Smelled fishy, so I brought it to two other mechanics who assured me the component in question was fine. After talking to some locals it seems that they’ve had similar issues with this place. Avoid at all costs.

I really wanted to like this place. I can appreciate that they have been accommodating and getting my vehicle in. Keating agreed to go through my warranty company to do work on my vehicle. With that, I was expecting to pay a $200 co-pay for each of the services that they performed. When I spoke with them, they said they were reluctant to take on a warranty company because the warranty company never wants to pay full price . I am new to the Hamden area and I had previously used the same mechanic for over 30 years. I was a little worried about finding someone new. I am very happy with Keating Automotive. They are reliable, honest and very helpful. All of our vehicles have been serviced by them in one way or another without any issues. Thank you for providing a excellent customer experience. It is hard to find these days and does not go unnoticed.

I went to Keating Automotive to have my brake pads inspected. After a quick check, they told me my rotors needed to be replaced—even though I had just replaced them a week earlier at another shop. That immediately raised red flags. Despite that, they held my car for over an hour, did some minimal fix (which wasn’t clearly explained), and ended up charging me $195, out of which $172 was for labor alone. For what exactly?
