History Established in 1937. Chartered in 1937, KCT Credit Union was formed through the tireless efforts of Miss Martha Black, a teacher in the then Elgin Public Schools District, and Mr. E. Earl McCoy, then Kane County Superintendent of Schools. Throughout the years, KCTCU has grown through increased membership, mergers, and charter changes. John Soto!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I came to Kct because I felt welcomed and important but after speaking with Mr. Soto and his resolution for the issue I’ve had from companies trying to take money from me without my Authorization, I wouldn’t recommend Kct to any of my friends. I found out about Kct through another friend but after dealing with the rude Soto I have a different opinion. He made me feel so unwelcome and totally against me! Very rude and surly. Thank you Jackie klaisner....
I feel kctcu doesn’t value there customers they only look at you as a number and take advantage of people strongly considering switching banks

11 years ago, I was a very successful online retailer My Moher lived in Chicago and banked with the KCTCU for 30 plus years as a teacher. I had an account since 1994. I used my credit union to purchase product. I paid it off every month About the time my Mom had a heart attack I have been diagnosed as auto immune from exposure to toxigenic mold in my home in CA.
