Typically, someone comes to a doctor like this because they have a life-threatening and lifelong illness. Don't waste your time going here. They won't return phone calls, and when you do talk with a nurse, they won't help you. The Dr will say one thing, and the nurse will do another.
This is the worst doctors office I’ve ever had to experience. They told me that the hardware that was put in my back may have to come out due to the infection. My neurosurgeon and his assistant didn’t understand where this doctor was coming from. On my last visit, I was so distraught. I was crying and they let me leave the office in that condition and did not try to console me. And the office staff is quite rude. I don’t understand how Advent Shawnee Mission can let these consultants come into the hospital.
I truly thought Dr. Samir Dasai was going to help me. However after this initial appointment I had an extremely difficult time getting ahold of anyone about results of the MRI ordered or further steps. MRI was done on 01Jul2022 and after MULTIPLE messages left I finally received a call on 12Jul2022 with MRI results. I advised them that I was still concerned about certain things and requested she ask the doctor about further testing and here it is 21Jul2022 and NO call back- I offered several times to make an appointment if t... read more
