We are one of many Kansas City barbeque restaurants around the city but unlike most we still serve barbeque in that true KC tradition. And by Kansas City tradition we simply mean that we are preparing our barbeque and food products today as it has been done in the midwest for over 100 years! Overall, simplicity is the key word in our operation. To this day, the atmosphere and cooking methods have virtually remained unchanged, evoking a pleasant step back in time and memories of fantastic BBQ.

Just like trucker b4 said, meaty ribs, soft and tender with the house sauce were great ....potato salad like my mom makes and great flavor, prompt friendly service and now they have wings so my next meal there is already planned.....
Had the kickin Cuban. Very tasty. The sauce supplied could be spicier but over all was good. Cashier is a bit problematic. Will ask how ya doing then cut ya off midway. Would ask a general question but then ask another question while I am in the middle of answering the first question. I get take out because of this Also seemed very hyperactive via energy drinks or too much coffee or alternative methods....
I ordered the wings that was suppose to be their new menu item and as I was waiting for the wings I herd microwave doors slam the wings was hot on one side and ice cold on the other then she brought the remicrowaved wings back the ribs were ok everything else was store bought there was no bbq smell in the place I recommend another spot.......

Love this place !!! Plenty of truck parking right next door at the Petro. Highly recommend the brisket and the mac and cheese is also really good.
Never disappointed. Even the chicken is always on spot
Been in the area many times as a driver and had never patronized for lunch or dinner so, my first time experience and visit was great being that I'm from the South..I enjoyed the meal and like to say keep up the great food and the warm hospitality..
