I have been going to KC Auto Center for a couple of years now. They have always explained what needed to be done to my Mercedes, and charge a very fair price. I have had to text the owner on weekends in the past, during an emergency situation, and he always responded with answers to my questions and got me scheduled into his shop immediately. Amazing and thorough work!!! I brought my 2013 Q5 3.0 Supercharged for an electrical issue. Ryan and the team quickly diagnosed and rectified the issue but discovered a check engine light related to timing. After careful diagnosis and the most amazing communication I’ve ever experienced from a specialty shop, they determined a timing chain tensioner failure and subsequent damage to the passenger side camshafts. After driving out evening prior to drop off vehicle, I receive a call that the parts were ordered the morning OF repair and delivery is running late. I wait all day only to be told the parts were not coming and to come pick up vehicle (30 min drive each way). I schedule time another day with assurance I could wait as repair would not take long.
