I moved out September 15 and was subsequently informed that I would be getting my full security deposit back (as I had expected, since I left the apartment pristine). It was due back to me by October 15 (under Massachusetts law). It’s now November 27 and Brookfield still has not returned it — I’ve repeatedly followed up with various members of management and they’ve been incredibly unresponsive and still have not sent me my deposit. Do not live here if you want a responsive landlord and/or your security deposit back.

Great staff & team there
We have lived nearly six years in this apartment with glorious views of the river and the city with sunlight that changes every moment. The maintenance, friendliness and responsiveness of the staff are fantastic. The location is outstanding too. We will really miss the place and its staff. We are leaving only because we are moving cities.
We have lived in this building for 10 years. It has gone dramatically downhill under new management. Most recently they abruptly canceled the front desk concierge service, which is one of the key features that they used to advertise the building to prospective new tenants. Since that happened, packages, routinely pile up in the hallways, creating a risk that they get lost or stolen. The current management team is dishonest and nonresponsive. I would strongly recommend staying away from this building.
