Went under contract last year. Told home would be ready in May of 2025. Come July of 2025, find out that home won't be ready till August of 2025. Then found out that KB broke the purchase agreement locking us in at 4.99%. raised to 5.65% initially with no guarantee that it wouldn't go higher. When confronted about this and the impact it would have on monthly costs and our budget, we were offered an ARM starting at 4.99% that would balloon considerably over the years.
