Julie, Sales “Counselor”: She put a “close-by” date in what is basically the notes section of the contract to pressure the buyer into thinking it’s a legally binding clause. This plays into the “builders” tactics to not fix anything worthwhile from the pre-closing inspection report and pressure the buyer into closing on an incomplete house. Warranty: It’s trash.
