Casual Chinatown eatery provides upbeat groups and homesick expats with a straightforward Shabu Shabu experience. – In Short With its fresh ingredients, affordable prices and helpful waitstaff, Kaze is an ideal spot for the Shabu Shabu novice. Diners use a pot of boiling water to cook thin slices of meats like chicken, lamb and even ostrich. (A plethora of seafood and veggies are also available.) Starters include stir-fried veal tongue, steamed dumplings and seaweed salad, while cooling ice creams are available for dessert.
Finally, another shabu shabu place in Chinatown – No more long waits at Shabu Zen, Kaze is just as good! Freshest ingredients with an enthusiastic staff. All the seafood was excellent, very very fresh. Friendly staff, although they seem a bit inexperienced at times. This is a fun place for a group -the booths easily fit 6, we squeezed in 8 people!
