Joe Kay, with Kay s tree service, showed up at goodwill to remove a tree for us, that was damaged in a storm. However, Joe was unable to produce his insurance papers. It has now been 3 weeks. We have since then had to go with another tree service. We, here at Goodwill wished Joe would have been honest enough to have just told us up front that he didn t have insurance so that we could have moved on and called in another tree service immediately to do the job. I believe that the public deserves to know that Joe Kay not only has just been indicted on 4 counts of theft,but on December 23,2010 he was arrested for selling oxycontins,his bound was \$20,500.00,it was on the southwestern regional jail website. I also believe that if people knew this they would not be letting this man come near their homes to trim their trees nor cut them down.

Joseph Preston Kay the owner of this tree service was just indicted for theft,4 counts,it was in the herald dispatch. People get on here and say things out of jealous about other tree services,but this is the truth,he was also arrested in wayne county for recieving stolen merchandise,check the wayne news. This has all taken place within the last few months.
I cant speak for their actually tree service at this time. However, they were able to come to my home, consult, and give a free estimate. If youre looking for tree services, Id recommend you at least call and discuss with them. One issue.. They dont answer email at the address posted on Y! Local. At least not for me.
