I live in Philadelphia and Have been visiting my cousin in Minnesota since the early 90s. We started going to Kay's kitchen and ever since then it's a MUST STOP on my agenda when I visit - even 25+ years later.
I reached out to Kay to see what cake would be best suitable for husband's 28th birthday and she was so incredibly helpful. She was even super accommodating to my work schedule and pick up times. I was going to have about 15-20 people over for a celebration and she suggested I get the cake for 24 which I did and everyone LOVED it! It was just enough for everyone to have a hefty slice. Wonderful place for breakfast !! Very good service and waitress made sure to come by and check on our beverages and how we where doing ever 5 minutes. Food was servers hot and cooked to our request perfectly.
I was so disappointed I was in there for breakfast the milk was warm and the staff was rid of you are not a regular you just as well leave
