Dr. Bond made room to see my 10 YO son last minute on a summer Friday afternoon. We were in the US only one more day before returning to our temporary home in Belgium, and my son's eyeglass prescription had unexpectedly changed the day before, so we needed to square away his contacts prescription before returning. She was extremely professional and had all the patience in the world to teach him how to put his contacts in and out. I have been seeing Dr. Bond for about 5 years now, and am quite happy with the care and attention she has given me. Perhaps she was having a bad day for that one-star review, but she has always been considerate and quite patient in explaining each procedure and test with me.
I felt compelled to leave a review here after seeing the only existing one included such negative claims (which are most likely unfounded ones, in my opinion). I have been seeing Dr. Kayla Bond over the last year for minor eye issues and have only known her to be a compassionate, highly professional individual. I have also observed her interact with elderly patients/those with disabilities first hand and she displayed immense patience and a high level of care during these situations. Kayla Bond ii the worst ever. I was caring for a woman with dementia and Kayla bulldozed this poor woman from machine to machine and room to room WITHOUTexplanation!!! She could have used me as an ally as i could explain things calmly to my patient. She preferred to bully all of us around...not a kind or understanding cell in her body. She is truly awful. The thought that went through her head when she said"i think ill work with people" was one she never should have acted on, she should work with machines or an assembly line... read more
