When we started debating our big remodel we narrowed it down to 3 General Contractors. We liked all 3 companies. All were within budget and my wife and I had a hard time deciding who to go with. Eventually we picked Kaya Construction and can honestly say the experience was very good. We enjoyed every aspect of the project except when my house and living space shrank during winter but that was understandable due to the nature of the project. We recently worked with Kaya contracting and couldn't have had a better experience. After contacting multiple contractors who either never showed up for an estimate or never followed up on their estimate, we were able to find Kaya. They were not only on time to give an estimate, but the same was true about the job they did. It was incredibly efficient at a great price and the final siding product was great. We own a large rental property in North Portland. We had some roof work done by a prior contractor that was never finished. After trying in vain to have the contractor finish the job, we called others and were told that it would be a month out. I was telling my son about this and he suggested an old University of Portland buddy that had worked with one of my son's landlord friends in the same area and was ecstatic about the work he had done. I'd like to share a letter I wrote to Greg and the Kaya team after they worked with us for a number of months on a major remodel. "Dear Greg, Now that the dust has settled from our remodeling effort, I just wanted to so thank you so much for an excellent job. I had Kaya complete an addition on our home and they did a really nice job communicating during the process. Greg and his team were straight forward and did an amazing job on the finish details. I wouldn't hesitate in the least bit to hire Kaya again. We actually got to know the guys really well and will miss them.

Did floors in our house. – The actual carpenter employee doing the work was courteous and respectful, when we actually got to speak with him things were done well and correctly . He was great - should start his own business!

Excellent Guys...Honest! Nice Work! – I would highly recommend Kaya. They Stick to their budget and treat you with the utmost respect. I had an excellent experience...they put a two level addition on my home.
