My dog sees Dr. Kay. He is a little anxious, and she works very well with him. She is very patient and well informed, and I really trust her judgment and advice. The vet assistants are very kind and caring as well, and all are very quick in responding to questions, etc. I did take my dog to the daycare as well, but he had a bad experience there and so I took him out. It does not dampen my rating of the vet clinic though.
Trusted the veterinary staff here for 3.5 years when I adopted a sweet senior kitty with a heart condition. They were compassionate and caring and offered options to keep him healthy and happy. They were also always available for questions, which was good for a helicopter cat dad like me. Towards the end, they also helped to make sure my cat, Floppy, was comfortable. Would definitely recommend, particularly on the West Side of Madison!
This vet clinic does the bare minimum for your sick pet. They first tried to tell me I needed to put my boy down as soon as they identified a tumor, without any kind of end of life treatment option until I pressed them for it. Then when things started getting worse (months from the initial diagnosis) they were dismissive and unwilling to squeeze a brief visit in for an entire week because they were "booked". I’ve been taking my pets to them for years and I feel like they’re the best care that they can get from everyone at Passion for Paws. The staff are all amazing, knowledgeable & passionate about providing they give. The doctors are very straightforward and honest about any questions you ask.
