My wife was very uncomfortable in each of our visits with Dr Blewett. We always felt rushed and the office itself seemed very chaotic. Despite testing negative for HPV my wife was given a colposcopy because she read the test as positive. Switching doctors was the best decision we made.
This review is several years old, but Dr. Blewett was an amazing GYN who practices modern gynecology across the spectrum of women's needs and stages of life. I've actually moved away from Texas now but may return for a consult visit because of her thoroughness and attentiveness to my specific needs. I switched back then because like others who have written in reviews, her assistant at the time was AWFUL with a very hateful attitude.
So far had a great experience. She is very reasonable and listens to my concerns. As a physician myself, I am very impressed by how responsive Dr. Blewett and her staff are to messages. Any time I sent a message or needed paperwork, they addressed it within the same day. I wish I could have her as my PCP.
Initial I really enjoyed the visits with Dr. Blewett. However after so much trouble with the pharmacy they use with medications that have to be taken every day and having to start over or miss days, then going to the office to get samples and finding out they were expired, I decided this place was not the best for me. I would not recommend this office to anyone. Scheduling with doctor is a nightmare. I was scheduled with doctor by Stephenie front desk who works there and gave my insurance info at the time of scheduling with Stephanie but when I went for appointment Stephanie made an excuse saying that this office doesn’t accept my insurance and I would have to pay out of pocket. My insurance company shows this office as in network. Don’t waste your time here find another office.
