This is a chain of Kava bars. They only do Kava. No hemp license here. My thing is no matter what you do please have a menu and explain what is in what plus provide education. A bowl to sip is one option but if there are variations they should be explained. This Kava concept isn’t the only one that needs better menu clarify.
Last night I came in with a group of my friends, in total it was about 6 of us, as soon as we walked in the “bartender” Bree immediately asked us what we were drinking, the other 4 people in my group proceeded to order drinks, myself never being to a kava bar, I was just looking around seeing what my friends were ordering, after a couple minutes and being pestered, she was on her 5th time asking my friend and I what we were drinking, finally it got to the point where we said politely that we were okay and that we had to driv... read more
I did not have a great time here and quite frankly I left the place embarrassed. I don’t drink Kava or Kratum, so I wasn’t getting anything myself to drink. I was also in charge of driving. I walk in with my party of 6, 4 out of the 6 of us were ordering drinks. And when I said no thank you to the bartender, Bree, that I didn’t want one myself, she proceeded to yell at me across the bar in front of everyone saying how they have a two drink per hour policy and I have to get something or I have to leave.
