Kaufman Transmission is no longer owned by the same gentleman. I read the reviews and was sceptical. However the new owners are absolutely amazing. Fair & honest when it comes to work & price. They did an amazing job. Quick turn around. I am hoping never to have transmission issues again for the rest of my life, but if I do I now know who to call!!!!
Not recommended. They messed up my vehicle. been in the shop for a year so the warranty gone. offered to give me a small refund from paying 2200. I left a review he didn’t want to give me the small refund until I take off the review so I did and it’s been a month or two and still haven’t received it so posting it again until he either pays me or for people to notified that it’s not recommended. Had a new transmission installed prior, then had to be back at the shop for a transmission leak and spend no time to fix it except a new oil pan gasket which the leak was in between transfer case and transmission and, the transfer case was untouched due to the bolts still covered in fluids. Left shuttering and the new gears worn out not even 5k miles into the new rebuild
