Initially, I felt good about the care I was receiving. We tried trigger point injections, but they didn't last, then a new medication to address my pain. Dr. Kaufman is one-of-a-kind. He listens to me! He educates me as he treats me. He encourages communication and welcomes what I have to say. I can’t say enough about him.
I was lucky enough to be under Dr. Kaufman's care for approximately 1.5 years. He is an extraordinary physician and person. His broad knowledge of addiction and recovery is refreshing. I always felt like Dr. K "heard" me, never once did I feel judged by him because of my addiction or anything else for that matter.
