Very disappointing experience with Kaufman Agency. The appraiser used non-comparable properties—including smaller 2 bed / 1 bath homes without basements—while more appropriate comps with similar square footage and basements were available nearby. This resulted in a valuation that did not reflect true market value. I came from California to purchase a house in Pueblo Colorado. I drove down for my closing which took 2 days. The financing for house was through the VA. The order was placed on appraisal and it sat in the office for at least a week before the appraiser picked it up. Then she took her sweet time to go out to complete the job. Her name is Lisa. With their appraisal they sent the market value of our home downhill. The appraisal came in $10,000 lower than an appraisal done in 2022. This company should be reported to The BBB and close their doors they suck at their job. If I could rate less than one star I would, they deserve a zero!
Very rude when ask about the appraisal. Says his opinion only matters. Sent me into tidewater twice already. He shouldn't even be an appraiser.
