RecommendedIt's a place where students can learn, without the Bullying, without the sports, and without the peer pressure of a high school. It has no division of wealth of students that is so evident in Texas High Schools. They are doing a great job for the students that had problems with conventional school, performed poorly in that environment.
My daughter is attending school here and LOVES it! She visited for a week and said it feels like home. I like that they set the same level of expectations for all students to achieve and be successful. My daughter is happy and thriving. She’s doing well both academically and socially. Trust me, we’ve had our challenges and incidences but they have worked exceptionally well with us and have treated both her and myself with respect. I highly recommend this place. Since my son started Middle School he has never felt like he belonged. We finally made the decision to have him try KLA and it’s the best decision EVER! He’s a happier person and actually loves school now.
KLA is a awesome place my child has really blossumed be here thank you Dr.Kaufman , Mr.Duke and all thats been a part of my son life .
I was invited to give a presentation today (2/22/2018) during their community culture lunch period. Lt. Colonel Joshua Chamberlain, college professor turned military commander, ‘Knight of The Potomac’, future college president and governor, commanded 20 Maine Infantry Regiment during Battle of Gettysburg came to life here today. Very gracious staff and students facilitated my presentation. Nice to feel ‘welcomed’.
Not really impressed with the school lunches y'all serve our children makes me wonder how well y'all actually run a school.....
