I recently got a root canal by Dr Marin. I had not had dental work in quite some time and was not looking fwd to the procedure. Dr Marin was VERY patient during the consult and answered ALL of my questions and concerns. During the root canal he made sure I was comfortable and didn’t feel any pain. I did have a little discomfort post procedure, that only lasted for the evening and easily managed with ibuprofen as instructed. He explained every step of the way. Unfortunately, my experience at this office was disappointing. The staff seemed distant and unapproachable, which made an already stressful situation more difficult. I was not adequately comforted or provided with sufficient pain management. I even mentioned to Dr. Chu that individuals with red hair often require higher doses of anesthesia and pain medication—a fact he seemed unaware of.
