Wife and I had two shore dives with Kayla this morning. Fantastic dives! Turtles everywhere, lots of awesome fish and a few life list species for me. Kayla was very competent, friendly, and worked like an energizer bunny. A highlight of our trip.
My boyfriend and I dove with Kauai Down Under and they are great!! I would definitely use them again. He was certified and it was my first dive. Very good instruction from Kayla. I felt safe and directed well. We will come back again. Mahalo!!
Completed my open water certification with my husband today. Kevin was our dive master/instructor and he was the best!! I was very nervous about completing the open water dives, but Kevin calmed all of my fears. He was patient, kind, and the best instructor we could have asked for. We are so thankful that we signed up with this company. We had the best 2 days on Kauai getting open water scuba certified. RecommendedI got my open water advanced certification and three specialty certifications with KDU- specifically with Kevin. My mother also became open water certified with Kevin (she was very nervous and he was so patient). I have never felt more comfortable with a dive instructor and confident in an instructor's knowledge. Kayla was fantastic and patient! Our group struggled to pressurize our ears but we pulled it off diving 25 feet and learning all the important skills and got to see a bright yellow trumpet fish! Thanks so much for the experience!!
We planned to take a non-diving friend on her first intro dive with KDU. She was very nervous and had all those little issues that first time divers have. Turns out Guillaume got her over those fears and then some! After the two intro dives with Guillaume, I told her that if she had ever considered getting certified she should do it with Guillaume. Christina was amazing!! I had a bad experience 30 plus years ago and was very apprehensive about diving. She was very patient, positive, and supportive. As a result I was able to do my first dive at 30 feet and had an incredible experience and want to get certified!!
I scheduled a twilight/night dive to fit in my very tight work schedule while visiting the island. Josh was an amazing divemaster and I had an awesome time. Thanks so much for being willing to take one diver out on such a tight schedule!
