I cannot say enough positively about Dr. Katz. He was originally my doctor at UAMS before he went to Georgia. I found out he was returning to Little Rock in 2021 and called him about a medical issue while he was still in Georgia. He spent the better part of an hour on the phone with me giving me excellent advice as to what I should do. And he became my doctor again when he returned to Little Rock. I have the utmost faith and confidence in him.
Worthless decided I needed surgery before even seeing me, over charged on multiple occasions for a procedure he didn't even complete. Then referred me to his friend to redo the procedure.
Dr Katz did a minor surgery on my mother recently and he didn’t even get a current scan and the stone had already passed. He was unconcerned about her comfort and did not even check on her after surgery. In fact she was discharged w no follow up appointment or even things to look for if there were sign of anything abnormal. He sent her home w no medicine, nothing! Within hours after returning home she was in so much pain and discomfort. She was vomiting and cramping and moaning in pain.
He was very a matter-a-factly and short. Put me on a bunch if meds that I reacted BAD to and then would not return my phone calls about what to do about it. Exploratory surgery....Don't think so. He is very arrogant for his young age. Hate to see him in another 10 years. Turn back now.
Having written one review, I feel that I should amend both it and my star rating. I visited Dr Katz twice and as I said in my earlier review found him to be pleasant. However having just checked my SEGHS records, I see that he diagnosed me with two conditions about which I have not complained and which I do not have. He never examined me and my original complaint persists. It is one that his nurse had not heard of. So...not too impressed.
