I use to go here and this why I have gone some place else, every you get checked in their is some one new! No one ever lasts for long. The office manger Carol is fake and phony. My dog was nervous enough and Carol put her face in my dogs carrying case and in a high pitched voice says" hello gorgeous" then she proceeds to tell me that she had been a dog trainer for over 20 years. Do not use this vet. Her staff is rude and pompous. They are inflexible in scheduling appointments for owners who work, they are never on time, the fees are exorbitant and the vet herself and her assistants treat owners like they are morons.
Would NOT recommend. Did not vaccinate for lepto spirosis. Killed a perfectly healthy 2 year old dog who took one vacation to vermont and drank a puddle there. Her reason? Lepto spirosis is not common in NJ. She should at least give patients option of vaccine. If she had with my mother's dog, it would have saved his live. Shame on her for not reconsidering this short-sighted practice.
Truly love this place – I have been taking my dog and cat to Dr. Katz for 4 years. I love that she is very conservative in her treatment recommendations. She doesn't rush into doing things "just to do it". The concerns about her pricing? Having pets is expensive. Get pet insurance to save money. I have found her prices to be in line with other vets - especially $Montclair$. I am super dedicated and very fussy about my pets. When only the best will do – Very warm practice and a caring staff that makes you feel confident that your pet is getting the very best. I can't think of a better place that I have been this happy with the care that my pet has received. There has been no misguidance in treating my pets and I trust the staff 100%. They have my vote as the best ever. Kudos to Dr. Katz and her staff!
Best Vet I Can Imagine – Dr. Katz is the more caring vet I have ever seen. Super intelligent too. She found a small tumor in Snoopy that amazed the surgeon -- he had no idea how she find out. Truly saved his life. Thorough, dilligent, caring, and easy to talk to. Clear that animals are her passion and life's calling.
