Was refused service for specialist because I would not establish care with their Primary Care Physician. Although I had referral from my PCP (of over 10 years) which is not even needed by my insurance, I was told by the lady that answered the phone that in order to receive care from a specialist, I would have to first establish care with a primary care physician in their health system, have initial consult, evaluations with their PCP, and then they would refer me to their specialist if they felt it was a needed referral. We have been very happy with Dr. Mary n dr. Carver. We also enjoyed the rest of the staff as well. The only downside is self pay patients don't get much discount.
