Great place
I give CastleRock a solid 3 given our experience here and the issues we’ve had with our house since we bought. I give this development a 2, the HOA, Crest a 1 and the amenities none, since the Health Dept just shut down our single amenity. We moved into Katy Lakes almost three years ago because we fell in love with the design of our house. Initially I didn’t care about the HOA. The group made me aware how bad the HOA is at Katy Lakes. Promises never met and building codes are also not met. Attached an example for your reference. Health department had to come to look into it. Please think before come to Katy Lakes. If you need year around clean pool and amenities this is not the place. Please go to Elyson, Sunterra, etc.
