This is one of the worst renting experiences I've ever had. Kathy in the front office is the rudest person I've ever talked to. Maintenance is extremely slow. We emailed about mice in January and they brought by a few traps and then didn't follow up until I emailed again in March. Yesterday I called emergency maintenance because a live animal has been clawing at the wall and when I emailed in again this morning because no one came to do anything about it and I haven't slept, I was told "it hasn't even been 24 hours."
To Eric Nordstrom who rented 11 yrs ago- your rental file indicates your statements in your review are false, including that previous reviews were deleted since Google doesn't delete reviews. It is questionable when a person makes a degrading and misleading review 11 yrs later...
I look back on the year spent in my apartment on E Duncan St with dread. There was a family of raccoons living in the attic--after complaining multiple times for six months and having nothing happen I moved out. Also, the heat went out in winter, I woke up to find ice on the inside of my windows. The Katsco's management approach to home maintenance was keep applying Band-Aids but never really fix any problems. To be fair, I lived there years ago now. For at least 3 months there have been pidgeons living in my friends roof at one of their properties. Part of the ceiling collapsed and there was pideon poop all over. They fixed the ceiling the next day but they never got rid of the pidgeons so it'll probably happen again.
