Q) How much is Katrina's Taco Tuesday? A) Aside from chorizo, all tacos are $1.69 (at the time) all day. Arriving just a bit after opening, al pastor & carnitas tacos seemed just the thing to tide me over till dinner. Q) How were they? An enchilada plate is what I rate from . is restaurant needs better trained cooks . Cheese enchiladas were dried out , very little red sauce with no flavor . Beans and rice are the easiest to make with and they can be made with some authentic flavor, these fell flat .. The chips were out of a bag by the tasteless texture they had . If a Mexican restaurant cannot make a good enchilada plate , then retrain/replace the cooks or close it up . Overpriced for the blend flavor and small portions .
We went for the Enchilada special on Thursday. The food was great. Service was great. Very tasty and fresh. I say that because we went to another Mexican spot that just opened and it was the opposite, no taste. Right here in the City of Artesia, Pioneer blvd between Artesia and 183rd.
I came to this place due to reviews but it was very disappointing, food had no flavor, The salsa for the burritos looked like salsa cruda. I didn’t think you can go bad with a quesadilla until I came here. It gets two stars due to the agua de Jamaica tasting great. I should have known when I walked in and it was empty.
Taco Tuesday for $1.99 street tacos! This is now our go to spot for Taco Tuesdays! Love the tasty tacos with a Margarita, always put a smile on my face! :) service is always helpful and friendly. We are coming back for their fajitas, soon!
