Dr.Kolasa is a great surgeon. She explained everything that she was going to do during biopsy. I recommend her for breast biopsies, if I have to have one again I hope she does it,I have no bruising and hardly any pain that a Tylenol can't cure.
I had surgery July 11 2025 and have had nothing but trouble I have a big hole in my boob and she says it's my fault when I done everything she said if your smart you will find another doctor that not in with Ephraim Dr Kolosa is a joke never again
This surgeon is PHENOMENAL!! My buddy had to have an emergency appendectomy while we were on the Bourbon Trail. Dr Kolasas took it upon herself to bring my buddy a bottle of the bourbon of the distillery we missed touring as a result of this unfortunate circumstance. To us, her actions were FAR above and beyond that of a surgeon! Thank you so much Dr Kolasas!!!

I saw Dr Katrina Kolasa at Ephraim McDowell and also I F/U with her in her Danville office after having two biopsy on my left breast. They were both to be done on the same day, I was told I could come alone and could drive myself. That was the first mistake. Never go alone. Not sure why they tell you that. I can’t even sum up all that occurred in the two week period. I will just say this. I have been in the medical field myself for over 30 yrs.
