Dr Mertz is amazing! She truly cares for her patients.
It's unusual that there are some negative reactions posted because I had a great experience with Dr. Mertz. She's not even my regular OBGYN but saw me because my regular Dr. was booked too far out. Dr. Mertz was very present, kind, respectful and caring. She was thorough, asked me if I had any questions, and didn't rush me in any way.
Worst ever she came recommended because she used to be a midwife but when I met her she was extremely rude forcibly touchy and on my first appointment and first time ever meeting or seeing her she wanted to induce me the same day because she was going out of town when I refused she got very angry. 10 days later I had my son without her. I was Beyond relieved that she was gone as I did not want her to touch me ever again.
Dr. Mertz is amazing. She’s very honest and straightforward. I feel comfortable talking with her. She handled my twin pregnancy and made sure to answer all my questions. She takes the time to hear you, which is rare, in my opinion. She delivered my twins via c-section and helped me get through my fears before and after. She treats you like a person, not just a name on a chart. I would recommend her to any woman looking for an OBGYN.
Horrible doctor. She told me i was going to have a miscarriage and to go about my life. Find out 10 weeks later im still very pregnant. None of my visits with her or her phone calls were on my medical record at OMG center for womens health.
