This place is by far my favorite sushi restaurant. The food is awesome and the employees are always so nice!
I live right around the corner from this place and have been coming for years. Everything is really fresh and the will tell you their most recent shipments. I love the specialty rolls that end up on the white board. The sea bass is always top notch. This place is just great. My wife and I enjoy it. I travel a lot and eat a lost of sushi and can safely say, this place is by far one of my favorite places. Cheers!
If zero stars were an option I'd give that. If you want your order to be wrong 3 times, then maybe this is the place for you.
I took a group of Thais to Kato for lunch last week and they loved it, just as I always do. They were surprised to find good sushi in Kansas City. I always order the chirashi, a large selection of sashimi served over a bowl of rice. It's terrific! The staff is always very friendly and helpful.
Disappointed in the chicken teriyaki, the soup was good though.
It's the first time I have been here in about 4 years. The last time I got sick. This time I got a bento box to go. The chicken teriyaki was horrible, didn't even taste like chicken. I subbed a philly roll instead of the California roll, and it to wasn't very good. I threw away about 80% of my meal. Maybe I have just had bad luck with the few times I have been here.
