Dr. K was kind, gentle and very informative. He let me process the diagnosis and waiting to see if I had any questions after each major topic. He was thorough in his description of the issue and the surgery, clear and concise making sure, both myself and spouse fully understood.
I had stage 4 colon cancer in 2012 that went to my lung a few years later. Dr. Katigback operated & removed it but it came back again in the same area. My oncologist told me that it wouldn't make sense to have another surgery because the cancer would come back. She wanted to put me on a "maintenance plan". Dr. Katigback told me I should have the surgery & I have been cancer free for almost 6 years. He has a great personality & makes you feel at ease because he explains everything in words you can understand.
A kind doctor who honestly cares and wants the best for his patients.
My experience with Dr. Katigbac was great from consultation to post surgery appointment. He was professional, explained everything, and took time for my questions, his staff is great as well , I highly recommended him.
Seems great but after surgery . doesn't care what the patient is going through and in his words you're lucky you're alive! Do not explain all options to patient just the surgical procedure he performs
My daughter was transferred to 4 different emergency teams in 3 different hospitals within 10 hours. Her situation turned out to be incredibly unique. While every health care professional I met with (numerous doctors, nurses & surgeons) was professional & kind & thorough in explaining procedures & protocols, Dr. Katigbak managed to surpass all others just when things were beginning to get very stressful & potentially dangerous. I finally felt my daughter was safe, and she was. THANK YOU!!

I would recommend Dr. Katigbak to anyone who wants a caring doctor. He and his staff are the best.
