Have been visiting the area 2-3x a year for the past 20yrs. Have driven by this place many times and never stopped. A guest at our B&B mentioned it Sat morning telling me how great it was! So I had to check it out, needless to say I will be stopping regularly on my visits from now on.Fantastic menu and food l!!
First visit here. I expected a 5-star type place, and though the food was decent, I was a little disappointed. For an Amish restaurant, I thought the portions I observed on people's plates were a bit small and the amount of turkey & cole slaw on my Grilled Rachel sandwich should have been at least doubled, if not more. However, it WAS tasty even so. Service was good.. However,

Stopped by while road tripping back to Georgia for our two year anniversary. The place was packed on a Tuesday night but we were seated quickly and our order was taken in a timely manner. The rolls and the peanut butter spread were amazing! My husband and I both loved our dinners there! Wish we didn't live so far away or we would eat at this restaurant every week!

Katie's Kitchen is one of THE best places to eat in all of Lancaster County. From authentic Amish style cuisine to classic standards like bacon and eggs, you cannot go wrong. The staff are friendly, the restaurant is immaculately clean and the prices are reasonable. The dining environment is peaceful and relaxing. Best food absolutely best service at a great price.... And not to mention customer service at its best. They do everything to make you happy and their coffee is amazing (im a coffee feak) and their food is soooo good and the portions are huge.. If you are visiting or residing in the area this is definitely a place you should put on your agenda 4 eats..
Great food and amazing service.. staff is very friendly. Place is very clean and nice inside. The fried chicken had a good crust and flavor, French Fries fresh cut not frozen.
