I was a patient of Katie’s for many years but had to find a new psychiatrist because the front desk receptionists were so unprofessional. I just couldn’t take it anymore. I was often told that “this is not an emergency room, we are not a 24 hour hotline” when alerting my provider that I was running low on medications during normal business hours. Katie Porche is an excellent provider and was exactly what I needed at my time of treatment. She listens very well and isn't afraid to pivot to a new plan when necessary.

Do I think she is a great doctor for some? Yes. Unfortunately for my mother, she did not help her at all. Since the course of seeing Katie, her mental health deteriorated for the worse. My mother suffers from a severe mental illness and needed medication that worked for her. Katie’s go-to medicine for her was what people with a mild version of this illness would need.
