Great for Retina problems
As always, Dr Taba and the staff are courteous, caring, efficient and very professional. I have needed injections for over 14 years and fortunately have been treated by Dr. Taba for the last 2. For the first 12 years, my injections with a different group were usually more painful and very often resulted in discomforting after effects which I have never experienced with Dr. Taba. I like Dr Taba and the office staff. My only complaint is each time I have been to this office I have waited over 1 hour before seeing the doctor, no apology for the wait. Doctor spent about 10 mins with me each time.
Dr. Katia Taba explained macular degeneration thoroughly when I had dry macular. She urged me to take any vision changes seriously. While on vacation my eyesight was blurry, so I called her office, and they walked me through finding a retina specialist in the NC mountains. My dry macular turned wet. I received two shots. Now back in Naples I returned to Dr. Taba who explained the changes to my eyes and administered two more shots. She is wonderful. Jane C. Levine, PhD
