I went to Kathy Dominican Hair Salon for a simple blowout. I have natural hair that has been treated with hair botox, so my curls are looser and less frizzy. My friend, who got a roller set, perm, and blowout, was only charged $45, while Kathy wanted to charge me $60 for just a blow-dry. When I asked her about the price difference, she claimed a roller set with a blow-dry costs less — which doesn’t make sense since that service actually requires more steps and electricity. Owner is very rude & disrespectful…. & should be careful of the potential customers you decide to talk shit about in front of their faces. She decided to talk shit about me with another customer in Spanish after being rude telling me she doesn’t know how much for my hair making faces when I’m asking if she take card (no answer was “only cash”).
