Dr. Tonder is a wonderful and caring provider! I’ve seen her for over 10 years and she has been there through the birth of my two children and is now their provider as well. The only complaint I have is not with her but I believe Swedish/Providence in that it is so difficult to see specific providers as they are so busy. It used to be much easier to get in to see her and now it’s months out or I’m transferred to a different provider. Again- nothing to do with Dr. Tonder but the hospital on a whole.
Dr. Tonder is a terrific provider and person. I've seen her as primary care for years and she helps me manage my health with professionalism, care, kindness, and concern.I know I can count on her to listen and work with me and on my behalf to get the best care.
Dr. Tonder used to be a good doctor and used to be is the main point. She is now callous and uncaring about her patients. She has been rude to me before via the portal about asking for ‘too many’ prescriptions. I’d say I total maybe 1 every few months.. if that. I have a rare illness and therefor, require compounded prescriptions, which she absolutely can not stand. These take maybe an extra few minutes for special instructions?
