Kindness, compassion, thoroughness
I've been seeing Dr. Bowers for several years and have consistently been impressed with her expertise, professionalism, and the warm, personable approach she takes. She puts you at ease and is always ready to answer any questions you might have. Additionally, her staff is consistently competent. I couldn't recommend her more highly.
There was a personal issue with my scheduled appointment and as a result I needed to cancel and reschedule. Dr. Bowers has me on a thirty minute skin check every six months due to a previous melanoma. The rescheduled time would have extended that time from six months to nine months. I took that nine month appointment, however Dr. Bowers was not comfortable with that. She somehow fit me in to her very full schedule by adding another day to her week. Dr Bowers is thorough, kind, patient and interactive - which is very important. She will answer your questions. She will allow you to feel like you have been heard. And she has a lovely manner and good sense of humor with her patients and the other staff. (What is important to me is that she didn't make me feel like I was dumb when I asked questions). My appointment was for my annual check up - and I know that if something strange had shown up, she would have gone through all of it with me. Thankfully - all was well.
