Excellent Indian/Nepali dishes. Some of the best in the Baltimore region. Biryani, saag paneer, and tikka masala all wonderful. Mild source level is good, but I would recommend at least the medium spiciness for extra flavor. People working there are incredibly nice and hospitable. Garlic chulpa is delicious and goes well with every dish we've gotten.
Kathmandu is the comfiest Indian and Nepalese place in Towson. I'm a regular at Kathmandu. It's a quiet place with low-key atmosphere but rich decor. The server, Kanchan, is a familiar, smiling face, friendly and always on task, despite how busy it can get! The buffet rotates through signature dishes, but if you can catch it with the tikka masala, vegetable korma, and saag paneer: that's food that feels a little like home.
