I only had a short phone consult due to living in another state, but the conversation I had with Kathleen made me feel heard. I wish she practiced closer to me. She took the time not only to talk with me despite no prospects of it turning into a client relationship, but also found a local therapist to refer me to. Thank you so much for all your help!

Kathleen is a great therapist I’m sure if you aren’t in an abusive relationship. She sat there and validated my abusive ex telling us that “everyone yells sometimes” when I was trying to say that she screamed at me in an abusive manner multiple times a week. Never spoke to us individually either which you should do if abuse is even mentioned. I realize my relationship isn’t her fault but it was traumatizing to be told that I need to move on and accept the yelling as a “part of marriage” essentially. Horrible!
